On January 25-26, 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts, Fiji, and the Centre for Flexible Learning, the University of the South Pacific organised a workshop on Open Educational Resources (OER) and technology for STEM, where 21 staff from the Curriculum development unit at the ministry attended. This was an introductory session where the participants were introduced to OER, exploring skills in finding and adapting OERs for Fiji’s context. In continuation, a series of workshops is scheduled for the next six months, aiming to train at least 500 STEM teachers.
